Melissa became the firm’s Chief Operating Officer in April 2022. In this role, she oversees the daily operations of Mutual Fund and Advisory Operations, Human Resources, Office Administration, Information Technology and Investment Management Support, and assists the Management Team with the operations of those departments. In addition, Melissa designs and implements business plans, policies, and procedures according to the firm’s strategic plan and annual strategic priorities.
Melissa joined the firm in 2007 as the Mutual Fund Administration Assistant Manager and was appointed Operations Manager in 2012. Since 2015, Melissa has focused her time leading the Information Technology and Trading Operations departments.
Melissa has built a wealth of IT and project management skills through her previous positions with Alerus Retirement Solutions, Fairview Health Services, and United Health Group.
Melissa earned a BA from the University of Minnesota and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
She serves on the Boards of the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts, Twin Cities Habitat for Humanity, The Friends of the St. Paul Public Library and the Episcopal Homes of Minnesota.
In her free time, she loves to explore the communities beyond her backyard, hiking, and traveling with her husband, Jody.
