Emmanuel A. Onsomu

Emmanuel provides support to multiple Investment Managers in his role as an equity trader and assistant portfolio manager. His duties include assisting with account review, trading, and investment account rebalancing in accordance with model portfolios and client specifications. Additionally, he assists with updating models, rebalancing accounts, and executing strategy changes.

Starting his career in Kenya, Africa, Emmanuel worked with Africa Oil Corp (Kenya) and Project Oil Kenya Joint Venture Partners, fulfilling various management accounting and financial planning roles from 2012 to 2022. Subsequently, he ventured into management consulting with MMC Consulting before transitioning to a full-time position at Mairs & Power in 2024.

Emmanuel holds a BA in Economics and Mathematics from the University of Nairobi and obtained an MBA in Finance from United States International University, Africa.

Emmanuel likes to volunteer his time as an assistant basketball coach for his nephew's team.
