Chad M. Kilmer

Chad Kilmer joined Mairs & Power in 2024 as a Vice President and Investment Manager. He is responsible for the management of institutional and individual separate accounts, including conducting equity research, buying and selling securities on a day-to-day basis, portfolio monitoring, performance measurement and regulatory and client reporting.

Prior to joining Mairs & Power, Chad was a Partner with William Blair Investment Management and co-managed its Small Cap Value Fund since joining the firm in 2006 and co-managed its Small-Mid Cap Value Fund since the Fund's inception in 2011. Before that he was employed by Nuveen Asset Management (formerly known as U.S. Bancorp Asset Management) from 2004 to 2006 in various capacities, including small cap value equity portfolio management and buy-side research. Previously, he was an investment analyst at Gabelli Woodland Partners, a subsidiary of Gabelli Asset Management.

Chad earned a BSB in Accounting from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management and an MBA in Finance from Yale University School of Management. He is a CFA charterholder and a Certified Public Accountant (inactive). Chad is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Minnesota.
