Brent M. Williams

Brent Williams joined Mairs & Power in 2018 as a compliance officer before being promoted to compliance manager in 2021, assistant chief compliance officer in 2022, and chief compliance officer and legal counsel in 2024.

Brent started his career in compliance as an anti-money laundering and enhanced due diligence analyst with U.S. Bank and worked at Värde Partners, Inc. as a compliance analyst.

Brent earned his bachelor's degree in political science from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, and a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Brent serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Ramsey County Bar Association, and as a member of the Steering Committee for the Twin Cities Registered Investment Adviser CCO Roundtable - a group for Minnesota-based CCO's seeking counsel from peers related to various industry best practices and topics.

Brent lives in Minneapolis with his partner, Kei, and their two pets (one cat and one dog). They can be found enjoying local restaurants or taking in a show at one of the many theaters in the Twin Cities.
