Pete was named lead manager of the Mairs & Power Fund in June 2026 after serving as co-manager of the Fund since April 2019. In his role, Pete oversees the investment process and portfolio management of the Fund.
He joined the firm in 2010 as an assistant vice president and analyst, and he was promoted to vice president and investment manager in July 2014.
In addition to portfolio management and equity research, Pete helps individuals and businesses through personalized portfolio management and investment counseling services.
Pete began his investment career at Ulland Investment Advisors as an equity analyst in 2003. He also had worked as an equity analyst intern for the State of Wisconsin Investment Board in Madison, Wisconsin prior to joining Mairs & Power.
Pete earned his BA from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota and went on to graduate with an MBA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He is a CFA charterholder.
Pete lives in Edina with his wife and young daughters. He enjoys boating, golfing, and reading.
