About this role:

We are seeking a client-focused professional to join our team as a Client Analytics & Relationship Analyst. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between Mairs & Power and our clients, combining exceptional relationship management with technical expertise in financial data and analytics. You will work closely with financial advisors, institutional consultants, and other intermediaries who use our products (Mutual Funds, ETFs, Private Funds and Separately Managed Accounts) to understand their needs, deliver customized solutions, and provide ongoing support while leveraging industry data providers and artificial intelligence (AI) tools to enhance service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted, long-term relationships that reflect Mairs & Power's commitment to excellence
  • Respond to client inquiries promptly and professionally, ensuring exceptional service delivery
  • Conduct regular check-ins and account reviews to assess client satisfaction and identify opportunities
  • Proactively anticipate client needs and recommend solutions that add value
  • Maintain detailed client records and track all interactions using Salesforce CRM

Data & Analytics Support

  • Utilize financial intermediary data providers (e.g., Discovery Data, Salesforce, Synfini) to support client requests
  • Build and deliver customized reports and presentations tailored to individual client needs
  • Leverage AI and analytics tools to generate insights and enhance client deliverables
  • Refine and optimize existing datasets to ensure accuracy and relevance
  • Translate complex data into clear, actionable information for clients
  • Serve as primary point of contact for assigned clients, building trusted, long-term relationships that reflect Mairs & Power's commitment to excellence

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting and relationship development
  • Plan, organize, and facilitate client meetings, presentations, and educational seminars
  • Travel to client sites for in-person meetings and relationship building
  • Represent Mairs and Power at industry conferences and networking events
  • Develop materials and resources to support client education and engagement

Skills:

Technical Skills:

  • Proven experience working with financial intermediary data providers and industry platforms
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and similar CRM systems
  • Ability to build reports, analyze data, and generate client-ready deliverables
  • Experience utilizing AI tools for data analysis and client solutions

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
  • Strong client-facing skills with a service-oriented approach
  • Ability to build rapport and maintain professional relationships

Other Requirements:

  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 30% of the time

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry with demonstrated client service experience
  • FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 licenses (or ability to obtain)
  • Knowledge of the financial intermediary landscape and industry trends
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Python, SQL, or other programming languages

Your pay may include two components: base salary and variable pay. While base pay applies to all employees, variable pay is offered to employees as an annual target bonus range based on a range of factors that include, but not limited to, your position, your individual performance in the role, and firm profitability.

The applicable salary range for this full-time role is $90,000 - $125,000 per year. The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors. To ensure that our pay remains aligned with our desire to remain competitive, we benchmark pay and benefits with other companies that are comparable in size and scope.
