Title: Shareholder Services Representative
Reports To: Mutual Fund Shareholder Client Service Leader
Department: Client Service
Status: Full Time / Exempt
Location: Hybrid Environment / St. Paul, MN


Summary:

Responsible for supporting our mutual fund shareholders in partnership with U.S. Bank Global Fund Services (USBGFS), the mutual funds’ third-party shareholder services provider, by providing shareholder servicing to a select group of individual and institutional shareholders.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • In conjunction with USBGFS, service shareholder requests, inquiries, issues, and any other matters relating to shareholders such as new account registration, shareholder applications, checks, gifts of mutual fund shares, routine account maintenance, and updating of account beneficiary designations, for example.
  • Assist with compliance reporting activities.
  • Partner with Client Service Specialist (CSA) to accurately report mutual fund holdings and process updates of separately managed account clients.
  • Document all shareholder interactions recording inquiries, complaints, comments, as well as actions taken in Salesforce, and review for efficiency improvements.
  • Maintain and safeguard information with regard to client information.
  • Cost basis and gain/loss reporting.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects assigned.

  • Proficiency in Office suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3+ years’ experience in investor services or related field (financial services/fund administration) required.
  • Strong Salesforce or similar CRM experience.
