Glenn E. Johnson, CFA

Glenn Johnson is a senior vice president and investment manager at the firm. He joined Mairs & Power in 2010 and during his tenure at the firm, he's also served as vice president, director of portfolio management, and director of institutional asset management.

Glenn started at Apache Corporation in 1981 as a financial analyst before beginning his investment career as an Equity Analyst with Piper Jaffray in 1985. He served in the same position with First Trust Company of Saint Paul, where he later became a Portfolio Manager. Next, Glenn became a Senior Investment Analyst and Portfolio Manager with First American Asset Management in Minneapolis. He also served as a Senior Investment Manager with Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group for 11 years.

Glenn earned a BA and an MBA from the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities. He is a CFA charterholder.

Glenn volunteers his time and talent with Wakan Tipi Awanyankapi, formerly known as Lower Phalen Creek Project, which is a Native-led environmental conservation nonprofit founded in 1997 and based in Saint Paul.

Glenn and his wife, Michelle, enjoy tennis, traveling and spending time outdoors. They especially enjoy skiing with their children and grandchildren.
